The iconic Italian sportswear brand - which since 1956 is one of the leading players on the tennis scene and technical sponsor of internationally renowned players and tournaments - and the brand streetstyle of the moment, founded in 2015 by the brothers Calza, sign a collaboration to the spring-summer season 2018. After the first GCDS show during the last edition of Milano Moda Uomo, the Australian capsule collection also takes New York for Woman fashion.

Tennis in addition to sports: it is in the iconography of a timeless style - traditional in the values that inspire it but always present in the aesthetic codes that still make it unique in the collective imagination - that resides the constant inspiration that fashion draws from the world of racket. Australian has been synonymous of that world for over sixty years.

The reinterpretation of tennis that GCDS chose to dedicate part of its SS 18 collection on the 9th of September during the NY Fashion Week: the brand for millenials - founded only two years ago by Giuliano and Giordano Calza have led him to a fast ascendant of followers and billed also thanks to an under 30 team- he chose Australia for a special capsule collection.

Iconic pieces that meet the seasonal diktas of streetwear and mix them with the sport's heritage: polo shirt minihress and plissé tennis skirts, body and maxi logo suits reminiscent of Australian historical image - including kangaroo, a symbol inspired by nicknames of the Australian champions of the past - and declined in the GCDS language, which in only four seasons has conquered the heart (and the social) of celebrities and international influencers.
